RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 03-24-2023 And another new plan for the bed.. turns out, with a slight modification, my metal frame fits perfectly… Just need an extension to make it a bit wider.. RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 03-26-2023 And trying a window cover solution (insulated ) I’ll let you know when the paint dries.. lol RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 03-30-2023 Hoping to have the uumph to work on Solar this weekend (allergy induced bronchitis (coupled with new job/ and new hours) is kicking my backside- lol) But will put up a pic or two soon.. RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 04-02-2023 I umphed, sort of.. Tired, but victorious! (and maybe a little sun-burnt.. lol) Yeah, I didn’t wash the Whole roof, just where I needed to.. but they are adhered, bolted, and sealed! {thanks John, for the advice!} 2 sexy 9bb 100w panels ((and I have plenty of room between them and the roof vent, for my other panel off the crapi-van.)) And the connectors are bagged, taped, and zip-tied to the roof rack until I can get the gland and the rest of the solar (controller/battery/etc) moved over — but I ran out of ‘go’ for the day, and my legs and hands were cramping.. lol Next weekend- move the rest from the crapi-van and pull ceilings and put JB weld on the downside threads. ((and probably add sound deadener and better insulation and disconnecting overhead lights from engine battery and running a wire set for house battery and … before replacing ceiling)) And how do you get dicor on the under/back sides of the mounts? With a flexible silicone straw (wound up cutting it in half..) and some duct tape! Worked great! RE: Code name “Baby” - rvpopeye - 04-02-2023 Nice mod on the splooge tube ! I hereby award you 2 rate points for posting that tip here. Code name “Baby” - Cammalu - 04-03-2023 Looking great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 04-03-2023 Also got my water and pump going and installed. (Pics of that and window covers to follow) RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 04-03-2023 So I borrowed the switch-safety idea from Scott, but did it ”not Perrier” style LOLBasic starter 5gal bottle fits easily under my ‘kitchen-desk’ with manual twist-knob style rechargeable pump attached..in crate to keep it in place. —- faucet facing aisle for ease of filling drinking, rinsing, dog water. Simple. The top is way too close to the underside to Ever be accidentally triggered.. y’all know my builds. Simple but elegant and functional ![]() RE: Code name “Baby” - Kyz - 04-03-2023 Looks great! Wish I had some of that talent! Code name “Baby” - Scott7022 - 04-03-2023 Sheesh you can drive a truck for ten years and no one calls you a truck driver but wash one set of solar panels with Perrier and.:: Lol. Simple and frugal works well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
