And yay- massive storm revealed another water leak.. at the rear door top seal.. sigh- door, bed, tools, floor, all soaked.
I know what I’m doing after work… sigh

I found on my 89, the rear pop out window hinge not able to compress seal enough.
Not enough range to adjust. I had to ream out the screw holes so it couldnbe pushed farther in.
When I removed upper portion of hinge in order to do so,, rust underneath..
Ospho wirebrush, paint door, reattach olished ss hinge, with seal trim in between.
Sometimes rain still gets between door seal and door frame. D3p3nds on wind direction, but it pools.on floor in back.
Metro rubber sells.new seals. Not cheap.
Hinges might neex adjusting to ceter door in door.frame to compress seal evenly.
Pain in thee keester.

I believe I found the leak
BOTH sets of barn doors.. (cuss-words)
Side door- due to prevailing winds- blew water in about a foot.. thankfully, just lino and a throw rug.
Back doors.. yeah.. curtain, mattress, tools, things-bin (including leather encased items..) good times
Now to try to find new seals…
Doesn’t help that we got well over 1.5” of rain in about half an hour.. with crazy wind

That's what I was just going to suggest...
Another thought is re build the seal with black RTV silicone.
(or that stuff the auto glass replacement guys use?)
Maybe as a temp fix or might be the fix by itself.
Clean the seal really well with 91% Isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry.
Overfill RTV in the seal dent , put wax paper against the frame , close the door.
Wait 24 hours.
Trim excess if needed.
(You might be able to shape the RTV by hand if you have sculpting skills?)
Look at it this way, your toilet and tub didn't just fall into the kitchen.

Loocks like previous owner closed door on some wires, for years.
I, removed my door seals completely. Had to treat some rust behind them on the bottoms of doors.
Ipa alcohol is a good epdm cleaner. The seals will fluff back out when cleaned and scrubbed.
They are hollow, one can slit them and insert some rope or similar, then vlue them back shut.

Dodge on right, chevy on left.
I spliced shredded dodge with tolerable chevy.
Amazing goop.
After joinery, spray silicone.on rag, massage seals till they fluff up.
While.no zeal is on door, close door, look from imside o bright day. See if gap on bottom iz much smalller than on top..
Worn hinge inn bushings,and time allow.door to sag and compress.seals all wrong.
Pulling seals from door requires a nice.tool to pull the ribbed plastic retainers at tbeir base, without further damaging seal. Wide.two pronged plastic fork.....i fot away with gkuing some rubber between seal and door, for a decade.
