RE: 34 days - rvpopeye - 05-02-2019 Good idea , hope more CGs install 'em. RE: 34 days - RoamerRV428 - 05-02-2019 yea not something we see a lot in state parks, Cloudland Canyon State Park in Georgia is the first time we saw grey drains throughout the entire campground. It was a great perk to have for sure. Hope to see more states doing this option but not many state parks upgrade a lot so.... Ive seen some evaporate grey water by letting it trickle out through heavy wool socks onto mats over rocks in a basin. Along with a composting toilet they never have to dump. RE: 34 days - RoamerRV428 - 05-02-2019 yea there are a lot of good tricks to handle grey for sure. we just so far have been in positions where we go for the 'big dump' and get'er done fast and so far we have worked out fine doing our little system. Might change down the road, depending on boondocking situations and more. Good thing is we can adapt very easily. A lot of times in campgrounds we will use the facilities if nicer and take pressure off the tanks. Boondocking won't give this luxury tho but we don't care, we have a lot of small changes that helps tanks, like shower outside with a hose and more.....nice thing is everything can be dealt with easily and not a huge factor in our lives on where to dump etc.
