Ya know an old forum i used to get handled trolls by trolling them. Change their names, etc. Its hilarious and works well.

It still is a valid discussion and how many people see us. While many of us are able to pay our way, there are many freeloaders both in and out of vehicles. There are those that take advantage of anything that they can and because of it people tend to think we all do.

yea the old one bad apple spoils the bunch.
but that is in every single situation in life. every single venue in life is criticized and bad points exposed and all that mess. Nomads on the road is no different.

The reason I brought this up is because of the rolling steel tent guy.He lived without care for years and now that he is sick his ex wife and other people are having to take care of him.

You will need care no matter if you are on the road or in a house. Either way you will or will not be able to go into a hospital. nursing home or hospice if you have set yourself up for that. Otherwise you will be a burden on somebody.

thing is no one is truly responsible for him unless they make themselves responsible and want to take on care.
ex wife and others have no responsibility legally for his care I would think...so it is out of kindness etc. that one takes on that position and one they put themselves into.
