Yesterday I was on my phone looking at the forum (iphone) and to see better, I turned my phone sideways. I kept getting an open tapatalk banner at the top that I could not X out of until I turned my phone 'right side up' ... the banner went away. I deleted the tapatalk app, so will see if I get the banner again with it gone.
Not the same situation, but I'll try replicate if I can without tapatalk installed...
Only takeaway I have (so far) is to turn your phone to see if the X appears? I'll keep looking though.
Bottom line is that our forum has no ads so it should not be popping up for sure.

It pops up on Tapatalk but shouldn’t on regular browser. I read long up so never bugs me. But yes it’s a convenience and you have to pay for convenience in life. Or deal with pop ups. Lol.

I was using safari. But if you're NOT using tapatalk, it should NOT pop up to be honest.
