RE: Spelling Error - rvpopeye - 12-18-2017 I gave up trying to figure out if fat fingers , auto correct or spelling challenged was involved and just thought..... "Does It Really Matter?" we're not writing a master's thesis here. It's a forum to bring people together to just have fun !......RIGHT ? I ---Just---Don't---Care---About---Spelling! OR Grammar. BUT It really sucks for those that have the inner need for spelling perfection though. SO................ I promise to spell at least one word correctly in every post . (And this post puts me way over my quota !) T W O h s,,,, P. O. RE: Spelling Error - Texjbird - 12-18-2017 (12-17-2017, 12:33 PM)Gary Wrote: when auto correct is as dumb as you are WAIT! WHAT! DID YOU JUST CALL ME DUMB? I'M SOOOOO TELLIN' ON YOU BUBBA! TJB RE: Spelling Error - TrainChaser - 12-20-2017 Sorry about all about my spell editing, but I just can't help it. It's sort of an OCD problem, I guess. Early one morning, I was picking up my rail crew (when I was working), and passed a lone car in the parking lot of a bar. All of the tires were flat, and the windshield and hood had some obscenitives on them. But the main thing that I noticed was that some of the 4-lettered words were misspelled. (I keep telling you about dumbo WA, don't I?) My crew was about 20 minutes away, and I was wondering what time the hardware store across the street from the train depot opened so I could get a can of spray paint and a razor blade to correct the spelling on the car. WAIT........................................ That's probably a YARC thing, right? **sigh** RE: Spelling Error - Texjbird - 12-20-2017 (12-20-2017, 06:02 PM)TrainChaser Wrote: But the main thing that I noticed was that some of the 4-lettered words were misspelleYOUR OVERCORRECTNESS HASN'T BOTHERD ME....YET To answer yore question............X4 at least How about some shade decals for the top of the windshield? YARC COMING AT YA DOWN THE ROAD Just Sayin' .... I want one 'I'm thinking on a section of the Safari with blackboard paint......then I could just let 'er rip when I'm truly aggravated. HEY! I COULD PUT " YOUR SIGN OF THE DAY" ACROSS THE TOP SAVE WEAR AND TEAR ON MY POSTER BOARD AND MARKS-A-LOT STASH THAT WAY TJB RE: Spelling Error - TrainChaser - 12-20-2017 Texjbird, that sounds kind of El Cheapo. Although you could paint the whole rig with it, and have messages aimed in all directions. It's cheapo if you do one spot, but it gives class to it if you spread it all over. Or, keep an eye on Craigslist and see if you can find an electric signboard. Maybe on a tow vehicle... Something like this: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/7c/22/fd/7c22fde49bdba3d6c7dc18ef6ba776d9--neon-lights-signs-light-signs.jpg RE: Spelling Error - GotSmart - 12-20-2017 That is sure to piss off some waco and cause attention. Anti stealthing? RE: Spelling Error - TrainChaser - 12-21-2017 "Anti stealthing?" Makes you easier to find when you break down along a long, lonely highway. And if you have the power, you could light it up: BROKE DOWN NEED TOW. TX highway patrol could see you from the air, and pass your location on to the tow truck. |
