RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 10-26-2023

Alrightey- we have had about 1 1/2” of rain in the last 24 hrs.. and none of it is inside my van.. yay!!!!

WTG !

RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 10-28-2023

More rain.. still dry! I feel victorious!! lol

Ok- on to the next hundred little projects..

RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 10-29-2023

Project # 83: Revamp the utilities space.

Deleted the milk crate (wasted space..) and added a bamf jug bracket.  Attached to shelving and floor.. positioned into braking direction.. (momentum is Not my friend!) freed up room for waste tanks.

Also considering moving my water pump up to the countertop.. somehow.. maybe (though I like how it is protected down there, even if somewhat inconvenient..)

And yes.. working in the dark again.. joys of graveyard shift.. shrug

Project 37:  Finish rear ceiling

Today’s task- Using high temp tolerant contact adhesive- attached sections of neoprene to the metal roof grooves.  Next I will cut sheet insulation to fit, put away wiring, then add the actual ceiling panels and trim.

I’ll post pics when I get the ceiling in..

Project 37: Finish rear ceiling (continued)

More steps completed
Got most of the insulation over the neoprene

And a lot of the t&g panels in.  Kept the original, undamaged, retaining parts from the old-moldy water damaged original ceiling.

Still need to do the couple of pieces around the roof vent—  but it will involve a bunch of cutting and way too much noise for my delicate slumbering neighbors.. lol .. so project for another day.

But significant progress!
    yay me

RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 11-05-2023

Also did a fairly major reorg of under-bed storage area. Tools, pantry, etc…
Really easy to access Through my bed frame by just lifting the mattress.. lol

Do you have a multi tool?  They are a lot quieter and can be a lifesaver for plunge cutting.

RE: Code name “Baby” - GypsyDogs - 11-05-2023

This stuff is fairly easy to cut.. but it is going to take a minimum of 4 cuts to make the panels fit..
Should be a handful of straight cuts and maybe a few whittles with a knife -

Multi tool? Like a Swiss Army knife?? Leatherman?? Lolol (kidding)
My tools are capable, I can run them from my van, but they are “brrrrrrrrr!!” Noisy.

I can wait a couple days and do it after work. (I work nights..)
