So , how do you get started ? - rvpopeye - 12-23-2022

Well , you're reading this so you already have started .
Next step is actually join the forums so you can ask those questions you are wondering about..
Asking  a question is the quickest way but you can read the forums and learn a lot too.
There's no such thing as stupid questions , ya gotta find out somehow .
If you ever watched Robin Williams in the movie RV you should understand the value of getting some clues before jumping in !

In reference to the big scene in RV.

No. Flushing the commode while draining the black tank will not result in a giant sewage bath. Not hooking up the hoses correctly just might. Nothing to that extreme.

Any other questions?  There are other members that know about other things.

I lived in mobile homes several times through the years. I grew up living in them as well. I always liked the idea of moving on if necessary, but taking my home with me. When I retired I moved from my mobile home that was attached to a rented lot in a park where rent kept going up and into an older class C. It was a bit too old and too small for my 2 cats. Moved into a slightly newer Class A and had it for a couple of years. Things kept breaking so I bought a different, better built but slightly older Class A. I like it a lot, but things keep breaking. Right now my water heater isn't working. I'm watching YouTube. Also taking showers up at the clubhouse. I have my eye on a park in Quartzsite for next winter, and spend my summer back up in the mountain town where I've been the past 4 summers. Maybe work out how to keep the Class A in Q and travel in something else in the summers. I have my eyes open for what it may be, has to be large enough for the cat and dog as well as me.

I assume it just stopped working .
Or are you taking it out of storage?
Does it have a pilot light or spark ignition ?
What year is the rig and brand of the heater?

'94 Pace Arrow. It works intermittently. Same with the furnace but I gave up on that and a space heater. I think it is electrical. Had professions here to look at it and it started working as they arrived. Turned it off to swap propane tanks and now it wont come on again. No pilot light I don't think.

My Suburban furnace is comatose, possibly dead. No click or indication that it's getting the thermostat signal.
Had it running for a test back in 2017, then never used it. Died from neglect?
Recently, I was checking it out, thinking of it as something to have handy in case of a grid power loss.
