Truck camper - wagoneer - 11-11-2017

1995 Dodge 3/4 ton diesel with a 1993 Six-Pac truck camper, any other truck camper inhabitants?

RE: Truck camper - Motrukdriver - 11-11-2017

I seriously considered a truck camper. I like the idea of being able to drop the camper in your spot and having the truck to go do errands like shopping or trash disposal. If I was a single fella I'd probably go that direction but buy an old truck camper I could gut and rebuild. No inside kitchen or bathroom. I'm becoming more and more interested in an outdoor shower/potty attachment on the side of the camper and then pulling a small camp kitchen trailer. Probably not a practical rig for the wife and I but I still enjoy reading and researching. It took a few days of pros and cons to finally get her to stop thinking about a bus conversion.. hahaha

Not yet, but I'm hoping to buy an Alaskan Camper next year.  Already have the F250 to mount it on.

Got the camper free with the truck it works my sig other has no interest, it is a PITA to unload but doable towed a 22 ft airstream for many years with a 1986 GMC 1 ton diesel van. Great combo but lost storage, so for now enjoying this low milage inline 6 diesel truck and camper.

Quote:It works because I travel solo and use the cabover for storing light stuff and the bunk over the dinette for heavier stuff  it is a tight fit keeping me honest. Fits in normal parking space and the tailgate closes, living in SF THAT is really important.

Hello Adrian, how about a bird's eye view of that camper at RTR?

Evidence!

Cool
