Reintroduction
#1
Wink
Hey all. Haven’t been around in recent memory but things have finally shaken out and we’re off to buy our van tomorrow!! We were both caught up in the Windfall Elimination BS were they took a chunk of our social security because we had state pensions, now that that’s overturned my honey’s social security went up 55% and mine went up 25% (to where they were supposed to be originally), so money isn’t painfully tight and travel is actually an option.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello again.

OK , maybe Facebook.
So what's your plan as to interior woodwork etc.
How big is it ?
Custom everything or habitat and goodwill ?

Personally I'm a big fan of buying things at the thrifts , just for the whatever type of wood involved , cutting them up and making custom with the wood.

Aromatic red cedar closet lining can be addictive so you were warned.
Coating makes it incredible but you lose the aromatic part.....

You give me far too much credit for build abilities, it’s going to stay a mostly metal cargo van a bed in the back, a porta pot, and some reflectix. ? Mayyyybe if we decide we love it we’ll do a bit of wall work and put down a rug. We are very fancy Doncha know.

Thank you! It truly was, plain and simple, theft. We paid into it for decades and they just took it, we both feel like we can breathe again.
