So true about people. My rules are for me, for various reasons. I don't break my word very often and I have never, in recent memory broken a promise. One is I promise to the other is I will do. I rarely make a promise to do without carefully considering all the stuff that could affect me from keeping it. I'll see you on Friday is my word and I better be on death's door to not show up. I totally understand others willy-nilly words and plan accordingly.

Don't expect a child to write War and Peace.

My Life My Rules. I need them as my moral compass broke a long long time ago. Rules are a great substitute. Rules are not fickle.
