Great to have new wheels! Too bad about the old one, that wasnt many miles on it.
The dealer did help you out on the old trade, thats nice. Make sure you use a bedliner or a spray-on liner of some sort.
I doubt you’ll find any decent slide-in camper for less than a trailer, truck campers are pretty spendy now. Also the bed sizes keep changing so be sure to measure what you have, I’ve read that many older campers won’t work. (TC forums)
I agree that you can likely build your own basic non-slide TC or build out a utility/cargo trailer for much less, and have a better unit as well.
Whatever you end up with, I’m sure you will enjoy the truck! ????
