I used industrial strength velcro with some small square spacers under my flexible panels. I have a fiberglass roof too. I mounted two on the roof and have two I use as portables when parked in the shade or I needed additional charging amps after rain days.

I like flexible panels. They are also more aerodynamic as they are not up in the wind like mini sails.
