who wants a forum?

Forums are like relationships you begin and it’s hard work and satisfaction in that work and you get peeps. The peeps have their own reason for spending time, the most valuable currency you have. I remember being a plank owner at overland exhibition forum. It grew and grew became very valuable and changed. Some fought the change, some fought the fighters, and others took the long view and made some coin. Some left, some stayed and were disruptive, and others saw it for what it was an adapting and changing thing; like a relationship. No one owns it, it is a entity becoming. Perhaps as a founding and guiding father you’re embarrassed or disapprove of the baby you nurtured. That’s sad for you. Like being ashamed of your child because they became a Olympic figure skater instead of a hockey player. You gave it life just like a relationship you gave it life. You don’t own it. Those that added to its development own it.

Destroying things is like burning down a house with the relationship inside. Because it isn’t what you want. I am glad to see in the aftermath you decided to let it go. I still stand by my posted assessment and comments. Not that you read the endless paragraphs I write so you won’t read this either. But truth is important in this world of propaganda, fake news, and fairy tails.

Scars, I seem to collect them. My name is now something different and I shall wear this new scar with pride. We saved something we built. Yes it’s not without some damage and missing bits but we’ll pick up the pieces, no doubt the weird overlord will run around with naked feet and find them like Lego’s pieces of OUR identity.

Moving forward yes a new name that better identifies the scope. Great idea. Good opening topic get some input from everyone. A second suggestion, from me, would be a “Help” section for “How do I install” a diesel heater in my Prius. Yea the temptation is there to just WTF the individual. But hey! Just perhaps that’s all they have and it’s a legit question. In the help section past a colorful penned answer if you like and answer the question. Similar if you remember a inverter install that I chimed in on. I use me as example as I am done talking about others here. The impossible place was designed as requested with heavy suggestions to sit, drink some wine and rethink the impossible. It worked out and I was pleased, but it could have easily gone the other way. So that would be my suggestion moving forward and maintains the spirit of the Original Creators idea.

I’ll still read it for the social side of things and post crazy shit and adventures as that’s my contribution. For now. If people wish to read it. I know personally the kind words during my exodus from the Russian Federation, for the second time, has been very supportive. I get I come off as a nail but looking at the future for monster isn’t too bad. As the Russian saying goes. “If you have a problem that can be solved with money; then you don’t really have a problem.” But, while that works for her my thoughts are with the 12 million like her that don’t have the kind of money to solve the problem.

If you’re a newb and your reading this and asking yourself WTF Russian Monsters blah blah. Those ones and zeros were destroyed in a coup. Innocent victims to a coup that brings us to now. That’s all the explanation I have. Probably all you’ll find. Destruction is never a teaching method. It does make for a good learning experience however and hopefully we’ve learned something.
