If you remove seal frommpop iut windows, and close.window latch with no seal, yiu will likely see a significantly larger gap up top, along the C hinge.
I had to modify my hinge mounting points to even that gap out and seal properly. There is a little adjustability built in, aboutt 1/8", but in needed to push it 1/4"" before the gap was even and it would seal properly.
It was engineered improperly initially. Once the seals age, they leak. Perhaos no aging required
