i managed to shear off a capacitor on the bucker of my clamp 92mm delta fan, when adjusting aim.

gonna have to protect future ones better.
have not tried to repair, yet.
too freaking hot in garage.

The 3S 18650 BMS'd pack of ryobi pulled cells has seen a few cycles now.
the firat cycle i turned powersuplly to 12.57v, and whenni came back 0.00 amps, and each cell measured 4.19 individuLly.
next cycle , 12.54, and one cell was 4.21v, the otherz less.
next cycle 12.50 and cell voltGe vRied by as much as 0.06v with first in string from -, always the lowest.

so it seems there is no cell balancing built into the bms, and the variations are likely due to reaistance from the battery holder contacts.

it does shut down power before overdepletion, but the last time i measured i dividuaL cells after bms shutdown, one cell was 2.86, the others 3.23 and 3.16v.

whether this is due to resistance in holder contacts, or unbalanced cells or some degree of both is up for debate. im not intested enough to test.
it works.
i can pull the cells and recharge individuLalky to rebalance.

it is a nice comlact pocketable 12v Battery, but id not gift it to someone with a 12.59v 2 amp charging source.
