I used one of the old captains chairs from the back. The slightly different size made a difference. Cheap at junk yards.
I had to set it in place while I figured exactly where to mount it. I had to have it reclined just right to swivel A bullseye mirror mounted right could solve the head problem. (Or teach her to duck!)
I got a flat plate mounted on the seat bolts and when I figured out where the seat had to be placed I drilled holes for the seat base. The guys at the metal shop did not charge much to cur a square plate and punch 8 holes for me. It has been 10 years so I don’t have my build sheets anymore.

Compared to parenting, Cat herding is less complicated
