How not to cook eggs and beans

I put the beans in a jar to soak over night. I forgot to cook them the next day. 3 days later (this morning) I cooked them. The whole house smelled like a giagantic fart. My mom can’t smell anything so she didn’t notice. Eventually I put them through the vitamix and then poured lunch down the drain. So I stuck a couple eggs on high to boil and got busy changing out dirty pants and forgot about the eggs. The smoke detector did not go off when the pan burned dry and the eggs exploded.
