I just got a newer cell phone and still learning how to use it . so most of my pics are on my laptop

are you trying to go from laptop to here vis attachments? or using a photo hosting site?

I have been asked that question too, is there a way to attach a photo directly here, or do you have to use a photo hosting site? I don't know how to answer that because I have always used a hosting site, and don't see any options to attach directly without one.
 The Captain and Crew Finally got their stuff together.

when making a post/reply right above post reply/preview post is attachments,click choose file then add attachment

Thank you everyone ! I'm using a laptop. Will try the attachment way. I was trying to use the insert picture icon.

Nope...still don't see the "Attach file" icon ..Just insert picture (which has the stupid url stuff) ..I don't have a url /site for my pictures. Lost. Crap...just tried..says File too large.WTH?

I looked as well. Here's what I found; The attachment method Gary described is there when making a normal reply. It is not there for PM's, which I think is what you're looking for. I think your best bet is to find a free photo hosting site. I have lost touch with which ones are best because I have been using a paid one for around twenty years now. One I "do not" recommend is photobucket. I know that the folks I use also have a free one, but they scrub the photos every so often, so not a permanent solution.
