The camper I just sold had curtains that velcro'd to a small valance/box wrapped in matching fabric above the window, was very effective and made it easy to have them off or on.

Two 'L' brackets
132 inches of low stretch 3/16" diameter rope
large black tablecloth.

Fold it in half over rope.

Binder clips.

I just hung curtains on a flexible rod that pokes into a seam and lightly holds the curtains. I can sew some for you.
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.

Run measuring tape in the curtain rod pocket, drill holes, add snaps to top of window and top of curtain. Curve to wall, snug fit. Add 2nd snap above and tabs of fabric to hold curtains back/up.

the first attempt was curtain rods and gypsydog broke her sewing machine sewing my curtains, the problem with that was my windows are over 5 feet long so had to open the curtain a couple inches at a time and they bunched up so could only open them a little over half way

second attempt was plastic rv rails and clips, been working good so far

OHOHOH...  I've got it..
you do not need to be very tight at the top.. just use the measuring tape idea on a Valance at the top that lays Over the regular curtain rod at the top.. should keep light leaks at bay.. that way you can use a 'normal' ish curtain rod or something similar, and still have your light-tightness.  the valance can overlay, like 4", and allow for the curtains to open better..

That is the problem with Tight curtains.. they do not bunch well..  Also the rubber backed curtain stuff is a beast.. it is sticky..and does not 'blouse' well on the rod.
