Last thing I'd want to see if this become CRVL II but yes, it does need a touch more activity. I'm hoping to get this last remodel done so I can jump both feet into the trailer build, then I can post 8x10 glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one.

I can post pictures of the house remodel if anyone is interested. I'd building my own engineered (by me) beam to replace the beam that separates the dining room from the kitchen. Almost as fun as watching paint dry.

as the guy running it of course i want it to be active but what about you all?

remember you guys are in charge and we have over a year before we have to decide to continue or just let it die
Not much help here. I frequent a couple dozen forums and mostly just read and look at the pictures. 90% of the time somewhere, someone has answered my question and offers up their diy project results. I post looking for clarity from those that have some to offer.
Occasionally I manage an idea on my own and share.
I'm very adept at being the last poster in a new thread. Ya, i should sell real estate cause I'm a closer.

I really wish I had something interesting going on that I could post. We are still here in Western Kentucky working on this property clearing and planting a gazillion nut trees. Same old thing everyday really.

I go down to the pond and feed the bluegill, bass and turtles then do my best to break a mower or chainsaw. I drove thru the John Deere dealer yesterday to window shop. How I wish I could buy one of those little subcompact tractors with the bucket on one end and back hoe on the other. Along with a bush hog that would make short work of this place.

We go to Dr appointments and play on the farm. We never moved back in the house and are still in the RV. I guess we are fulltiming because I don’t ever plan to move into the house again.

This place will be wayyyyy better than when we got here by the time we leave. I still haven’t done a thing to sell off some never again needed items but I hope to before we take off again.

We are still looking for another rental property nearby but no luck so far.

Night rolls around and I’m feeding the night critters that come for food. Several of the raccoons will now climb the ladder outside my window and take marshmallows from my hand. Boy they are cute!

We need to do a little work on the RV. The step comes in and out while driving down the road but since we are stationary for now it hasn’t been a priority.

There are invisible bugs that are eating me alive. I have what looks like mosquito bites everywhere but never see an insect. What the hell is up with that? I’m scratching like a cat with fleas.

Anyone coming through our area be sure to stop for a mini gtg.

Increase the number of people here and the quality will go down. Anyone on Facebook van groups? Talk about a bunch of idiots for the most part.

"I want the #vanlife. What do I do first?"

"Fords suck."

And my favorite relating to a thread about a Ford 7.3 with white smoke and severe noise issues

" You need to change the spark plugs and add oil extenders'"

Do we really want that here?

Chiggers, cammilu, you might have chiggers.
We just got back from roaming around Missouri, the show me where to park state... hot there. We did discover another road trip we want to take when we have more time and some money. Anyway, back home living in the van in the driveway. The van is 90% done so the next step is to be getting rid of stuff. I have some nice sewing machines if anybody is interested.
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.

Ha, up where I am in the Kootenays I rarely have decent cell coverage thanks to wonderful T-Mobile, and I havent been able to post pics, so no real opportunity. I have drive to a coffeeshop in 100 Mile House just to get online.

It is kinda quiet here, I don’t miss the constant barrage of newbie/troll posts on CVRL but I’d like to see the forum succeed, and that takes activity. Its a fine line...

While my phone stays logged in, I run ccleaner after every laptop session and primarily log on to see view today's posts or new posts and might or might not click on them.

I am in general trying to spend much less time on the internet, and my desire to interact/share space with other humans is lower than normal these days.
