My reason will only be told face to face.

It has to do with being used and refused a place to park for the night for starters.

Weigh2ez,

I don't follow your meaning. Besides there shouldn't be any beggars in America as there's plenty of work out there for anyone who wants a job. Granted some jobs don't pay much but still there's no need for anyone to be begging as far as i'm concerned.

What I mean is if you don't want to give money to Bob Wells then don't!  It's that simple.  And I agree there shouldn't be beggars standing on the corner, but there are and we all have the choice to give or not.

I really turned when i saw his video on solar panels.
It was nothing but a cheap series of ploys to get people to mindlessly buy at his store.
He preaches minimalism and rails against the capitalist system- but has become the system!!!
There's enough hypocrisy in the world, don't need it sucking money off the poor and vulnerable stuck living in their Buicks.

People are very, very bad at accepting inconsistencies- in other words, opinions are black and white-
He follows the established online marketing strategy of of the three parts;
presenting information on your customer's interests
Blogging about the interest
Then actual marketing

What people think of is the first two, then cast off cognitive dissonance when they ignore what he's doing on the third

I honestly don't care if people beg for money. I've dealt with beggers in e form, on the streets and in truck stops and I get a kick out of the stories they come up with. I swear, if you could write some music to go with them it would make an awesome country song. If you truly need help either in money or physical work don't tell me, I'm from Missouri so "Show Me". If you really do need help then I'm there no questions asked and require nothing in return. What turned me away from Desert Santa and his band of merry elf-minions was when he looked directly into the camera and said sell off everything you own and buy one of these $2500 trailers and your life will be better. How reckless that is to say something like that to the viewers, many of which might be on their last leg so to speak. I don't begrudge someone from making a buck but not by exploiting folks that are in need themselves. What ever happened to that Jeremiah fella that was living in his car with two dogs at Ehrenburg? He had been scavenging empty plastic bottles so he could have something to put his water in. He made up a few videos then disappeared. I'm afraid he was one that heard the siren's song of Desert Santa and found out the hard way that the song wasn't so sweet.

To do what BW has done to hundreds if not thousands of people is just horrible. He prays on those who are most vulnerable the mentally unstable. Sell off all your hard earned possessions, leave your family & friends, buy a 30-year-old shitwagon and come and eat dust all day in Arizona.

Now he can be even eviler now that he controls cash from his kool-aid drinkers.

His Express van is now going to be nothing but a Harvey Winestein casting couch. No doubt all his generosity (not from his wallet) will be aimed at middle-aged women in dire straits.

Speaking of mentally unstable. Do you have a badge? Most of us do...
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.
