Another flooring idea

You'd need a miter saw or some way to make super accurate cuts but this is a beautiful floor...  minus the feet.  The pieces are probably big enough that once you glue them down they won't pop up or crack.

We used regular old luan. We stained and varnished it. When it gets more torn up, and likely it will, we can stain and varnish a new piece to go in the worn area.
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.

Miter saws and accuracy are a no-go with ol’ 10 thumbs here. I prefer painted plywood on a van floor, or maybe the paper sack flooring method.

Type in “paper bag floors” and you’ll get quite a few websites that discuss this artsy-fartsy-craft style decopage stuff. I’m all about that, ha ha...  Big Grin

We did the ceiling in contractor paper stuck on the wood the old foam/fabric was stuck to. It is a great place to put all the stickers.

If you put that much time and work into a vehicle floor, some idiot is going to ram the 'ell out of you, and turn it into splinters. Probably the day after you put it on the road.
