Had to delete a member here

It's with a heavy heart I make this announcement.  I had to delete my lovely wife Anna's account today.  She's been in my ear multiple times a day for the last week about wanting her account deleted.  She says she has nothing in common with anyone here and that we'll never go camping and she has nothing to offer since she had no knowledge... and on and on and on.  So, after consulting with Gary on this and wanting to keep the peace in my household I pulled the trigger.  I tried very hard to persuade her to stay and just read the posts but nope... she wanted out.  So I'm a big meany today.  You can ready the rotten tomatoes to chuck at me..  really, it's ok.

If deleting her account will give you peace and stop the nagging you done good.

Sad to read that...I was hoping you and Anna would organize a meet-up in OZ...though just as well since (I think) my OZ friend (who has a camper) may have found a romantic interest and so, has no time for friends.

Sigh...I was hoping to go along the south, west and north coasts of OZ eventually (already traveled the east one).

We're still heading to Australia and plan to do some camping over there but it won't be for a while. Still have to sell the houses here first. 3 have been on the market but I think it's the wrong time of year to sell in this part of the country so we're probably wait till spring to sell and then make the move. 1 is still in remodel fun so we can't really go anywhere till it's done. Hopefully Anna will take more interest in camping and come back to the forum.

Aww, bummer. I enjoyed her company and posts here, whether she camped year round or never camps a day the rest of her life, don't make much difference to me, and I'm sure others hold that same sediment. But I respect her choice just the same, we can all only do what is right for ourselves and our own well being. I'm sure she knows the door is always wide open for her, should she ever want to pop back in.
