Roadtrek Activand Hymler Insolvent
#1
While I am sitting here trying to decompress I picked up the biz section of an English Language paper and just read that the big Corp that owned North American Hymler (SP) and RoadTrek are out of biz and anyone with a warranty is screwed. The company covered a few brands of rigs so big deals coming soon to a new RV dealer near you. Seems they had 300 million in outstanding liability so...

Wow!

It would have never come to light but they sold it to Thor Motor Coach...Financial Irregularities or corporate speak for theft and mismanagement

Yeah, I don't think any of it was RoadTrek's fault. My guess is Hymer cooked the books so they'd be a better (looking) target for acquisition.

I guess the real issue, been doing research in bed, is that the MB units were converted while they weren't a Master Upfitter! So MB will say sorry so sad too bad.

You're correct they were cooking the books for the Thor Industries takeover
