Hello All
#1
Okay, I hope I'm in the right spot to introduce ourselves, but if I'm not... Just means we are with the right group! Big Grin

We are Martha and Jack (Kathy and Joe) Our 1 year anniversary for full time was March 13th.

We are in a Travato 59g Ram Promaster her name is Lucy.

We're in YARC camp and have been since January. Enjoying the people, food, drinks and campfires!

We retired early from Tool and Die. Sold everything and hit the road. Our first year we put over 30,000 miles on Lucy.

Just Jim and Jack installed solar on Lucy, and Jack has been helping Just Jim since.

We plan on leaving in a few weeks, north to Alaska.

Will miss all the wonderful friends we have made here,  and look forward to next season!

Until then... Safe travels to all!

Kathy and Joe

Welcome. Alaska is a great adventure. I did the top half of it two years ago and want to go back for the bottom half. Pics always welcome.

Word of caution. Early in the season the frost heaves in Canada can do a lot of damage (ask me how I know). They mark most of them (key being most) though.

If you've been in YARC camp 3 months and didn't run ?
Oh my goshk !
30,000mi in one year ? Huh
Impressive .
And still less than someone commuting to a job just going in little circles .
Looking at the same scenery every day................... Rolleyes

You must have seen so much on all the stops. Shy
And maybe found a couple of short cuts , revealing amazing unexpected sights too ?
You did stop , right ? Wink I never got to do that till I retired .. Rolleyes

Sounds like this year is going to be pretty mileage heavy too..Alaska (the west coast one) is a fair bit north .
Leave a trail of bread crumbs............and post those pics. Past , present and future..
Many here still only get to read about traveling and want to know if it's worth the trip....
Skuh kuh kuh kuh kuh kuh kuh Tongue

Oh , one more thing....
Have you earned your "Stinkin' Badges" yet ?
It just takes a story....
stay tuned
  Cool
