Yep.  I hear ya.
I still have offspring at home.  A wife still working.  I'm a lil older than she so was able to bounce first.

I've been a van guy most of my driving life.  Latest is a 2011 Chev Express cargo.  Sticks, plywood and plastic cabinets for now.  Wired in for solar and shore.  No hard lines for water or propane.
I'm not looking to make the interior(  too ) livable since I enjoy being out doors.  When that's the case, I'd get a towable.
But the van is user friendly and comfy.

Thanks all, for the warm welcome(s).

Welcome RL,  Still stuck in S&B here also.  I'm taking small trips also.  Planning a big one next year though.

I've got a 2012 GMC Savana 2500  which is about the same as yours.  If you've ever get an intermittent STABILI TRAK light that comes on and you get annoyeded enough by it I found a solution that worked for me.  Seemed to happen mainly in cold weather.  Anyway hope you love yours like I love mine.

I just happened to see the icon light up on the upper right side of the dash cluster a few days ago..
I was towing a small cargo trailer thru some twisties and it momentarily lit up .  I also think there was a ding sound attached.  Was gonna read up in the manual about it.

Click on User CP in the upper left. About halfway down on the left side is the signature.

I'd bet my life on a stack of van dwellers that until just now, the Change Signature was not there.
I was only able to see, Edit Profile, and three options.  Now I'm seeing the fourth.
It boggles the mind.
Thanks, did it

I think you have to have 10 posts before it shows up. Glad you got it.

RL,  The light and the ding sound sounds like the Traction Control/Stabili Trak .  Don't remember the position of the light on instrument panel..  On mine it started happening everyday and mainly when I was in a turn.  It clears itself when the engine is shut off and restarted but after happening daily I researched and it seems to be a common problem in a few years that Express/Savana were manufactured.

If it gets to be annoying, I'll explain how I corrected my problem.
