Hello Everyone
#1
Cammalu invited me to come over to this forum so here I be.  I've lived in campers full time in the past and have taken extended tours in my old station wagon and motorcycle.  Retired from truck driving after 14 years on the road coast to coast.  So, I've seen a few things..  unnatural things, the kinda things you only see in late night horror movies and certain places on the internet.  Anyway, I'm working on getting back into the full time on the road life which will take a bit of time but I'm making progress. I'm here to share what I know and learn from those that know what I don't.

Good to see you here, Mo! My ex and I ran a one truck operation for about 10 years. I loved the times I got to ride along and can't wait until I can get out there in a normal sized vehicle to visit spots a 53' trailer couldn't get into (although we managed a few places where it was scary)!

Hi Gary, I ran an internet radio station out of my truck for years.  Had Verizon unlimited data grandfathered in and could connect pretty much anywhere.  So, when I stopped for the night I'd set up and go live over the internet.  I carried that with me when I retired from trucking and it is sort of a hobby of mine.  Can't do much with it right now being "on vacation" pffttt.. hahaha.. in Australia but when I get back to the US I'll pick it back up.

Thanks..  Personally I couldn't wait to get out of that dang truck.  I danced the happy dance when I retired and sold it.  Being on the road as a nomad is far different.  I've experienced that on and off for a large portion of my life and loved every bit of it.  In a big truck you have that time schedule and your views are loading/unloading docks and nasty urine smelling truck stop parking lots.  Rarely getting any time to explore the interesting places you pass by.  Loved my little Scotty camper and I'll get another one like it hopefully in the near future.

The Big Album Mix is playing right now. I have many other mixes that Jukie plays. The rest of them are single tracks in various genres but I figured the best to put up for now was the Big Album Mix while I'm here in Boomarangland.

I just set up the Classic Rock playlist for Jukie. Single tracks and you can download all you want.
