It looks a lot like this will be my last summer in GJ.
I know a lot of people like to keep their summer places to themselves. I get the desire to not have large crowds showing up where you like to go.
Still, after 4 years on the road….it looks like I will have to truely go full time this coming season.
Any suggestions?
I expect fires and drought are going to be a hard hit on remaining nomad in the SW for the long term… anyone have suggestions for the rest of the country? I think that high occupancy rates at all RV Parks will mean I will need to exclude them from possibility….
Ideas?

I wouldn't count out the SW yet. But lots of warmer winter locations to choose from ......gotta be someplace that attracts ya. Especially if you don't mind moving as the temps change out of your idea of perfect.
Anywhere below I-10 is usually good all winter I-20 a little cooler and I-40 will get ya about 2 snows a winter and you'll have less than 24 hours in that . I had ice on the puddle under my rig in Nashville for a week once.
The southeast Texas coast , or any gulf coast is great except during hurricanes , a bit warm in summer.
Colorado is awesome during summer , etc ,, ymmv .
Northern AZ ditto^ Paradise Valley , just north of Yellowstone in Montana , Utah , Virginia , You need a bucket list !
I figure the fires will die out after cali slides into the ocean and then it will rain in AZ...............arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I heard Maine is pretty nice in the summah uptah camp.
stay tuned

while I get full time on the road is a worry about seasons obviously.......where in the heck do you want to go?
what do you want to see out there and what areas have you not been and would love to check out?
Wisconsin in summer with a small route cruise over into Maine slowly?
Are ya wanting to just 'stand still somewhere' for a longer time?? or is travel the name of the game?
It is truly all about you and what you desire. Of course we must understand our rigs and our limits on higher heat, fires happening, floods and more but in the end if we travel we truly can beat alot of that ya know........travel is the name of the game for me personally but again, all up to you!!
what kinda floats your boat? What are you thinking about what you want before ya ask us on where you should follow?
3 Stinkin' Badges, YARC, 3 Cat Ass Trophies , ROOIRIA Wannabe,(never happen) and still a Bisquit cause me soggy!
And 2 run down Flying Manure Spreaders!

west coast somewhere between san francisco and seattle, the gready goverments have made everything pay but if you can manage it you get the best weather,a little to cold on the coast and 1/2 hour drive has you in the warmer valleys
would of said socal but they have turned the nicest place on earth into a shit hole
