Needed a 'reliable' and comfortable vehicle to get husband back/forth to the big city doctor's offices/hospitals for brain/neuro surgeries, etc..
Considering each trip cost us in the range of $125-150, and our financial resources are dwindling to near nuthin.. 
I bit the bullet and got

..a minivan

   

also (because I could 'afford' it) she needs some work.. mostly fiddly suspension stuff.. ball joints, links.. etc 

currently in the shop.. but soon will get some weirdo van-chick mods.  LOL
Because a girl's gotta go camping..

Named her LooC  - because she is a 'Looser Cruiser'

dual purpose....fit the needs of both ya, save gas money and in the end becomes a great weekend get away for you which is what ya need

I have noodled out how to mount solar on the roof and blend it in as much as possible (just need hands on to determine where/how to route wiring)
Figured out ventilation (ala Sternwake.. lol) using a waterproof high-flow (155cfm!) computer fan, some fiddly bits, and a pot/switch and will mount it in the rear wing window. Power will be from one of those (not Jackery) batt boxes fed from engine and/or solar. Bed with built-in mattress ventilation figured out. Storage is.. well.. storage. Working on getting stuff out of Faith and sorting down to minimalist levels- to accommodate the smaller space.

Now to await getting her back from the slo-mo mechanic..
Not really complaining- he is giving me a good rate on the repairs if I let him work on her when he has time.

Began the paint process (then my spray can bricked in me, so trip to store for new/different paint)
A near match to the van color.. so should be kinda blendy..  lol
Especially as most people don’t observe nowadays..

Spoke with Mr SloMo, and he says they sent the wrong master cylinder.. but he may have it buttoned uo tomorrow….

hey minimalistic is what I do, you will love it too. less is more, less is better, having nothing, travel faster and lighter LOL all that works for me!!
