Code name “Baby”
We had a moderate rain.. and things were dry in the usual places..
now to wait for a ‘gully washer’ to really test the seals…

Also - pulled/replaced the stereo (had one on hand I like better)
Did not trust to do a 1:1 swap of wiring connections (theirs)

(Mine)

And everyone in the car audio business Knows the key to a good installation is a can of refried beans…

Had another deluge this morning- rear door still leaking right at the bottom.. like it is running down the seal and onto the rear floor..
Sooo- my potentially clever idea- get a couple of those heavy rubber ‘trucking straps’ and adhieze them to the floor just inside from the leak.. essentially force the water back out through the gaps..

It’s probably not ok or woke but the best stereo techs in the deck and two deck and three Biz were beaners. Lol. They called me snow monkey or worse. Love working with those guys back in the day so very much. Or getting the invite to the weekend BBQ. Called a BBQ but nothing was BBQ’d and everything was delicious. Good wiring and yeah never trust the last guy. Ever.

Trick for chasing wires AA battery with red and black wire soldered to corresponding +- ends. Then touch wires purposing to go to speakers. The speaker will click/pop. One other use for this is phase cone toward magnet movement in phase the other way out of phase. This phase can be used to tighten up a sound system cheaply without digital time alignment and other crap. When I used rear speakers I routinely tossed the left rear out of phase and the effect was a more focused center image. Your milage may very.

This tool is also handy for amplified systems to see what Chanel or amp is working.
