Okay if you're desperate and have no tools or skills, I guess. But I'm thinking they incorporate the cheapest materials with the greatest profit. And I doubt that they plan for multiple uses.

2018 is only their fifth year, so they're probably mostly alike, so easy to figure. And, they may be testing the waters; if it doesn't fly with the ProMaster, they probably won't bother with Chevy, Ford or Sprinter.
