The Engels use a Sawafuji 'Swing' compressor.
In my experience the Sawafuji is a vibrating noise maker, and the Danfoss is 2/3 quieter and makes 1/15th the vibration. Some sawafuji's are apparently louder than others. Luck of the draw, and how well it is dampened.
The sawafuji could likely be more durable in a high vibration environment as a danfoss if moved abruptly when off, will make a clunk.
I had a Norcold De-0040 withteh sawafuji, and now have a Vitrifrigo with a Danfoss bd35f. The VF fridge allowed me to insulate it, and to ventilate the condenser and compressor it better, and it uses less electricity, and makes less noise, and no way would I ever personally consider a sawafuji compressor fridge again, if I am to sleep within 20 feet of it.
My Norcold De-0040 looks exactly like the ENGEL SR48F-U1 FRIDGE/FREEZER if one scrolls down in OP's link
It failed at 5 years of age. My VF turned 5 last October.
The Danfoss allows one to change the compressor speeds, and add computer fans which come on with the compressor easily, allowing one to remove the heat from the condenser faster, making for a more efficient fridge.
