News Story re: Los Angeles
#1
Here's a wild story.  Entrepreneurs in Los Angeles are buying up old RVs and renting them to people who find them cheaper than renting an apartment.  The "landlords" move them every three days, to comply with the law, while their "tenants" are at work, and then text the new location to their "tenants".

Notice that the media is STILL referring to the "tenants" as "homeless people", even though some of them are making damn good money.

Very smart!

I couldn't help but laugh at this quote from the article though:

Quote:When it gets hot, she puts dry ice in a bucket with an upside down fan.
Dry ice? Really? Wouldn't that just create fog? Where would an RVer even get dry ice?
Pretty sure that was just regular ice in there. Wink

Yes, Beverly Hills, home to rich non-Hispanic people (mostly), the only place in Cali that knows how to pronounce it properly.

When it's that hot, she probably still has the windows open. And it isn't as bad as carbon MONoxide. Still, it would probably be better (and cheaper) if she used regular ice.
