grey water disposal

Why do so many people want to dump it on the road??? Just pull off somewhere into a turnout in the sticks somewhere, and empty it there. Better yet, dump it before you leave where you were, and improve your gas mileage a bit.

That is the first option. But I like other options too. A little stealth say like parked over a storm drain in a parking lot etc or driving down the road in urban areas might be better than burning the fuel to get to the sticks. I don't plan to do it all the time. But would like options. Thank you !!

I punched a hole in my grey water tank. Let’s just say the size and position are just wrong (under the heading of “what was I thinking”)

So, as I use the water it just drains. I have a small hole I dig under that spot. I cannot help but drain it as I create it. But, it occurs to me, if you leave the valve open just a small bit...it would drain (drip drip drip) continuously. As I will be putting in a new tank in a more appropriate spot...I will also incorporate this idea.

Please don't do it in traffic in urban areas! I've had idiots in RVs do that, and even though I don't tailgate, it got all over my windshield. Once, there was apparently oil it in.

I saw on the other site where some people punch a hole in their greywater tank right over one of the wheels, so it's relatively unobtrusive. But this would only be good when you're parked, and not when someone is washing stuff while another person is driving. And if you were parked in clay soil, you might have trouble getting out of the spot if it got too wet.

I wasn't planning to do that it urban areas at all. Or near any other vehicles. The EPA etc dont drive marked cars...do they ? idk.
