Perchance this sort of gadget could work?
(granted, I have not pulled the dash (again) and looked for the possibly bad reducer)

And the manual may need to wait a little while.. this paycheck is toast, and I have way too many days left before the next one..

While your linked v bucker looks nearly identical to mine, it does not have the fine v adjust potentiometer sticking out of the potting but i cant easily find any which do.
While these modern buckers work fine with a DMM, one needs an analog vmeter for the original mechanical device. It cycles on off 100 times a second comoared to several thousand with modern.
My original still works, there is a way to adjust them, but i had no analog v meter.
I dont even know if yours has the same device.
Rockauto listing it kight mean nothing.
The little one wire temp sendor connector.... mine was green turquoise inside. DEoxit alone was not enough. Needed a dental pick to abrade interior, make it look like brass again.
THese dodges are extra weird on grounding.
Add an engine to frame ground, double and triple check battery to firewall grounds

Have found a couple sources of digital versions of the ShopMan for my 95.. They cost a bit less, but I prefer real paper books..

Also used high temp rated exhaust paste.. seems to have helped- a lot
