It allows you to search for a part in junk yards nation wide. I can't find a listing for the sliding door, but I bet one of these junkyards has the window you need as they have all the other windows on an Astro available.

I HAVE A '98 GMC SAFARI HIGHTOP CONVERSION VAN. THE CONFERSION MODLE IS AUTOFORM BY GLAVAL UP IN INDIANA

FROM THE RESPONSE I'VE BEEN GETTING FROM THE GLASS INDUSTRY I THINK ALL THE SIDE WINDOWS EXCEPT THE 2 FRONT DOORS ARE SPECIFIC TO CONVERSION VANS.

DO YOU REMEMBER A POST EITHER HERE OR ON CRVL ABOUT A WOMAN IN FL NEEDING SOME EXTENSIVE VAN WINDOW REPAIR AND PLACEMENT?  A MEMBER OF ONE OF THESE 2 FORUMS REFERED HER TO A FRIEND THAT COVERD SOME OF THE WINDOWS AND REPLACED SOME TOO WITH WINDOWS THAT FUNCTIONED<<<<IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY

IMO.  CONVERSION VAN WINDOWS ARE NEXT TO USELESS AND THEY SUCK TOO

On the phone so much that yesterday I started losing my voice.  3 calls to Geico & 1 visit to a glass co. and 1 to a auto repair shop.

 Late last night on the last call to Geico I was told that Geico has found the window I need thru a company called Glass Seekers and it will be shipped to Battens Paint and Body & they will install it....could take a week.

Even on the 3rd call I was explaining to a Geico employee " Yes someone there at Geico is HELPING ME FIND THE GLASS I NEED "  " I don't care if you guys don't do this.  You're doing it today"  "Read your notes"

This is funny when It was only yesterday morning that I explained to a Geico adjuster that " I found a window for $446.66, it will take 4 to 6 wks if not longer for it to be made. I will need a temp Lexan window installed in the mean time or I need to use my $900 vehicle rental benefit for a van rental.  I think when someone realized that this could cost over $1,500 by the time I was done with it they would step up and assist me to find a window.    The 2nd time they called yesterday I flat told their rep.that I was so sick from this 3 week long mess that I couldn't even talk to them right then.  I hung up and went to bed.

About really getting the side slider door window....... I'm with Papa on this.
 As he said quite often "I'LL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT"

The window for the Safari side slider door was delievered last week.  This morning I took stuff out of the van cuz the glass guy said he'd need to get in the cargo area.  The base of my spine hurt like it had a steel spike in it about 20min into climbing in and out moving boxes.
 
When I got next door to the auto repair guy he said "Oh I thought it was installed from the inside.  I will not need to get inside after all"  I felt like this    I smiled like this     Good thing he failed Mind Reading 101.

But it's O.K. cuz...........THE DAMN WINDOW DIDN'T FIT ANYWAY

Damn. How many windows does it take to get the right one? I’m sorry you are going through this. I’m sure it is terribly frustrating.

There sure must be a lot of people in the parts business who don't know what they're doing. I've never heard of anyone going through this much sh!t just to get a window replaced.

I've been in contact with Glass Seekers which are the ones that found the window and had it shipped down here.  Susan who seems more on the ball than anyone else in this cluster fumble had ordered the part number that GEICO told her was the correct number.   Now we have another part number that took at least 45min for Geico to figure out.

Our conversation went kinda like this MY WINDOW IS HERE AND IT'S THE WRONG ONE...YES I'M SURE....BECAUSE THE GLASS INSTALLER MEASURED IT........NO NOT THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR DOOR........I DON'T KNOW WHAT A "QUARTER"   WINDOW IS....EACH SIDE HAS 3 WINDOWS, SHOULDN'T IT BE A "THIRD" WINDOW   I WUZ MESSIN' WITH 'EM BY THIS POINT.  SO ACCORDING TO GEICO THE SIDE DOOR IS THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR DOOR AND THE DOOR ON THE BACK OF THE VAN IS....WAIT FER IT.......THE BACK DOOR   WHO'D A THUNK IT...NOT ME SO I HAVE 2 FRONT DOORS A REAR DOOR AND 2 BACK DOORS

I DON'T GIVE A RATS BEHIND WHAT THEY CALL IT I JUST WANT ONE.

HOW HARD IS THIS ANYWAY...HELLO I NEED A WINDOW FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDER DOOR, THE WINDOW DOES NOT OPEN.  THE VAN IS A 1998 GMC HIGHTOP CONVERSION BY GLAVAL THE MODEL IS CALLED AUTOFORM. 

 MY 8YR OLD GRANDAUGHTER COULD FIGURE THIS OUT AND SHE HAS NEVER BEEN TO PUBLIC SCHOOL.  SHE IS HOME SCHOOLED, I BET THE ONE IN KINDERGARTEN COULD HAVE FIGURED IT OUT IN THIS LAST MONTH 

SO NOW I HURT ALL OVER MORE THAN ANYWHERE ELSE FROM CLIMBING IN AND OUT OF THE VAN MOVING BOXES AND OTHER CRAP AROUND.  I'M GLAD I DON'T HAVE A BLOOD PRESSURE GAGE, IT'S PROBABLY SO HIGH I'D KEEL OVER IF I NEW WHAT IS WAS.

QUEENIE AND ARE TAKING THE REST OF THE NIGHT OFF.  ANYONE KNOCKS ON MY DOOR BETTER HAVE BACK UP!

THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT.  AS LONG AS THEY CAN OUT RUN THE Q THEY'LL BE O.K.
