Is vandwelling a selfish way to live? Are we guilty of using societie's resourses and not contributing? Are we prepared to pay our way when we have to go to the hospital and eventually to a nursing home?Should someone else have to shoulder the burden that we didn't.Are we free spirits,or just free loaders?

There are full time free loaders living in sticks and bricks costing society a whole lot more.
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.

amen Snik!
absolutely not selfish in my eyes. I am one for live life as you see fit, let society deal with whatever comes their way. All of society has so many problems to handle and everyone foots the blame/the corrections to fix/the whole of it all. Every aspect of life. Decent humans contributes to overall life! Not just taking as everyone does at some point in their lives, they are also giving so much back! Giving back is key, those people are the ones that make life enjoyable and give us hope. Free spirited people give back a lot in their travels to so many actually!
3 Stinkin' Badges, YARC, 3 Cat Ass Trophies , ROOIRIA Wannabe,(never happen) and still a Bisquit cause me soggy!

How about the ultra rich who use society's resources for private profit?
Those people don't hang out on internet forums.
They fly in private jets to Davos for their face to face forum protected by the Swiss military.

Society uses us and gives little back. We work ourselves to death to make the controllers of the land, courts, governments fortunes beyond our wildest dreams just to barely get by. We the people built the nation we are homeless on.
Do not feel sympathy for your master because your an escaped slave.

Sniffs the air... smells like troll.
Particularly given its almost exactly one year since he last posted:

...and that also smelled like troll.
Gary: This is a perfect example of where a Thread Lock sends a message, and is better/healthier than deleting posts.
All regular members:
This is a worthy topic if discussed honestly, not for the pleasure of a troll.
That's what I meant, the last time I recommended a Thread Lock vs post(s) deletion.

I don’t know if a troll would be the right term for a information harvester. This looks like someone writing a book or article to sell freelance. I only remember the name, and not the poster. I need to look in the public archive.
A troll is more of a jerk.

I worked my whole life until illness ended my career and eventually I couldn’t afford my home anymore.
Thread lock?
Nah, we can discuss this.
Nursing home?
I’m here taking care of my mother on hospice, fuck nursing homes. When mom passes I’ll be back on the road. When it’s my time my children will care for me. I have insurance, pay my bills on time, and follow the laws of our country.
I’m not going to food banks or getting free healthcare or begging for money, I have insurance for my vehicle, I’m legit.

Well I believe that kaylee might be right as there seems to be some moderation involved
The subjects are interesting though.
Everyone that I have met on the road has one thing in common. They are humans with a story. Don’t judge them. Not your job.
