Yup yup , not much else you can do. But you WILL find it , eventually . Maybe a second set of ears in the form of a passenger that can move around while going down the road to narrow the sound location down ?

Try the door seals. The weatherstripping. It gets compressed over time rock auto has it.

No, they don’t.. all they have is the Generic.

And I have replaced the front right seal with a different one from a newer van.. no difference

I looked up this problem online and most solutions involve the door.

I think that you have howling mice. Or yowling mice

Correction- darn near perfect G5

Recorded and used a pitch app to identify.

Just in case anyone has ideas ….

Record and determine phase of said G5 put speaker in cab with exact 180 out of phase G5 sound and no sound.

Sorry Jesse made me do it with sparkle unicorn magic.

Now she will have to post and call me crazy or a liar or…

I sincerely hope you find this problem. I hve experienced it personally and it is only a little worse than having no dash AC

Out of phase would mostly affect the lows. But I like your educated guess suggestion O Great Bard.

What we have here is a whistler !
Whistling theory 101 .
Gotta fill it's little whistling mouth with "crackers"....

How about using painter's tape to cover up gaps in the general area ?
(Don't do everywhere at once , just one spot at a time .)

When the noise goes away .....YAY !
If you're off a little the pitch will probably change .
stay tuned

Masking tape on suspect areas is my #1 plan..

Once she gets out of the shop for.. issues. (Sigh) idles for a minute or three then dies, poor fuel pump performance, ecm not firing ignition correctly, popping asd relay repeatedly.. etc

Was fuel pump fail/ing and cooked the 20 yr old remaned ecm.
So both replaced (also includes fuel filter)
And got the kit to put a deep transmission pan on too!
Doing that tomorrow
