Holiday the Shuttle Bus

Framing about done. There's a bit on the very front of the shuttle that will be added later.

He's working on the bed frame at his house so we can start installing solar components (into/under bed).

Also, the old hatch was removed and allowed to dry out. Old rotting wood/cardboard was removed. He then glued wood back in the open areas and bondo'ed around.

Everything is lookin' really good ! 
I like the concept of building a rig interior while NOT living in it with all your gear at the same time !
I'll have to try it some day........

The new hatch...nothing exciting, but it does have a fan built in. (I didn't have a picture of it before today)

Frame for the bed.

           

He assembled in the bus today, but he did the cutting, measuring, painting at his place. It is not attached to the floor (yet).

I have a few updates today...

He has finished the shower/bathroom area for the most part.
   
The outside is what all my walls and ceiling will be. 
   
There's a latch on the inside and the outside. 
   
The door folds in half and swings out so it doesn't take up too much space when I open it.
   
He uses epoxy and paints to make it look like marble. In my case I wanted purple, so it is "rare purple marble" lol
   
The ceiling has a 12v plug so I can use a fan in the window to exhaust out steam, etc.

The kitchen is in progress now. He's made the drawers and everything. He'll use epoxy on the cabinet top as well to make it waterproof.

   

The water tank will go in the open area. He has already epoxy'd the floor there too.

   

This door pops in/out so I can access the water tank.

The ceiling finished...

He painted the AC shroud and the vent frame to closer match the ceiling. Loving it.
