Decided to protect the surface of the vintage desk with some formica..
(mental note- that stuff is a PITA to cut...)

Not sure if it is Worth it- I only have Jan 9-21 off of work. Is it worth 5-6 days of driving and $800-$1000 in gas and etc.. to have a handful of days out there in the desert with all of you? If I didn't have to keep my day-job, and could go out there for Weeks or Months, then yeah. I would Totally do it. I miss you guys.. and had So much fun last year.

Some say - come to the desert, we can help you. I'm not even sure exactly how this build will evolve... and I would have to load All the pieces and parts and bits and tools and supplies and stuff Into the trailer to get it there to work on it.... and try to live around all that stuff...

I am prioritizing the work right now. Step One- make sure the window I installed is WaterTight. Can't do much if the wall and floor are getting wet....
Hell- I haven't even figured out how to install a lock that works from the inside yet. Have one. Just need to work out the best way to attach it so it is secure.

The interior is Not going to be white.
Pictures don't really do the colors justice...

I think I have what is a clever idea for ventilation.. we shall see.
Am attempting to accomplish this build with only ONE small hole in the roof. (for solar wiring..)

After the Last trailer- I seem to be allergic to water.. lol

And my window security will double as a table.

A lot of the materials I am using for the build are reclaimed or repurposed.. or 2nd hand building supply.

Posting pics as you go can invite some comments that may be helpful as you progress.
