Just make sure that you keep the original receipt. They tried to charge me for balancing and rotation again. Claiming it was not in the system.

Sigh—- because of course.
Had to make a 225 mile medical trip (hub, not me- I’m fine) yesterday (Fri)
On the last leg home, my transmission began Noticeably stuttering in (3rd?) gear around 45-55mph.. under regular easy acceleration it has hard, sudden, half secondish loss of forward power stutters - gets better if I briefly ease off then push it harder.. once I get to freeway cruising speed - 60-70- it seems fine.
Guess it is $hop time again
And we have another medical trip in just a couple days..(Wed) so guess we’ll have to take his crappy truck that drinks gas like water.. :|

Check your fluid. It just might need a little bit more.
If it is dirty or smells funny, you might need to have a filter change.
Make sure that what is put in that AT is what is supposed to be. “Universal” fluids are usually a bad idea. Spend a little more and get the factory recommended fluid. I have seen many transmissions ruined by cheap atf that is not made right for that specific transmission.

Yeah- I stick with ‘name brand or brand-brand’ whenever possible.
Alas, it spent unknown time Overfull before I got it.. so
Had my local ‘fries’ shop take out the extra.. get it to mid level ok. (2qt over !! !!)
Have to do a pan drop to drain fluid, so may as well do filter at the same time anyway.. maybe get a drain-bolt pan cover too..

Top name brands are now selling ATF that is non binary tranny fluid. It was all they stocked at the two gas stations on US-95 in Amargosa Valley when I needed a quart to get on the road.
I added a quart to my 1989 Ford E350 Class C earlier this year. Then put almost 4K miles in some really hot weather. Up hills, down hills. No transmission problems. The climb in late July from Bishop to Mammoth Lakes took the temp gauge way up. No problemo. Glad to get to the summit and start descending.
